Missions range from completing (or at least attempting, yes there are points for trying!) physical activities like handstands or interpretive dance to answering a question or solving a puzzle, all missions should be completed at the location outlined in the brief (when applicable). Be creative and you may be rewarded with bonus points, be lazy and you may lose points!

GPS locations are set to a radius from a specific point to make sure you get out of your car/off your bike and head into the venue/location to check-in.
Aside for the enormous amounts of fun you’ll have playing Adelaide Fringe’s GooseChase game, there are some awesome prizes from our Fringe partners and friends. Make sure you are checking your app regularly to see the updated prize missions. And, of course, the major prize, two players from the top GooseChase team is going to Edinburgh Festival Fringe! Thanks to Adelaide Fringe Major Partner Qatar Airways.
The major prize winner will be drawn on Wednesday 21 March 2018, 10.30am at 136 Frome St, Adelaide - see the full Terms and Conditions for more details.
How do bonus points work?
Bonus points are awarded based on creativity or due to the completion of an extra challenge within the mission. Points can also be taken off of submissions if the mission has not been followed correctly. Bonus and negative points will be applied throughout the game, with a final review taking place between the closing of the game and the announcement of the winner. We also try and provide feedback when applying bonus or negative points, but no stress! If you lose points for any reason or feel like you could do better and get bonus points, you can re-submit the mission, your old bonus or negative points will be cleared and new submission will be reviewed.
Do I need social media to play?
No, but you do need to have an email address. This will be used to create your profile and will also be how Adelaide Fringe communicates with you about the Fringe, the game and prizes. We will also share some of the best snaps and videos on the Adelaide Fringe social media so make sure you follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date.
How do teams work?
When you join the game, you be asked to join or create a team. Teams can be one or more players and can be locked with a password. Make the password and share it with your family and friends to play together. Once one member of the team completes a mission it will show as completed for the whole team.
